VMS Students Sign Pledge

Valdosta Middle School students signed the “Bring It On” pledge during a guidance lesson on goal setting. Graduation coach Tracey Wilson spoke to students about the promotion policy, grading system, benchmarks and academic goals. Using their report cards from the first nine weeks, students had to project their grades for the second nine weeks. Students will record their own grades on a weekly progress form developed by Mrs. Wilson.  The “Bring It On” pledge says:

•     I pledge to do my best and not settle for anything less.

•     Life is a challenge and I know I can achieve, with the help of my teachers who care and believe.

•     Knowledge leads to wisdom and cannot be taken away, so I choose to apply my mind every   day.

•     Education is the key to a world of great things, and I will open the door and spread my wings.

Whatever the Challenge….Bring it on!
