Valdosta High School Students Participate in Annual Chick fil A Leader Academy

Valdosta High School is one of only 700 high schools in the country participating in the leadership development program.  Thirty students from grades tenth, eleventh and twelfth were selected for Valdosta High’s second-year cohort. Selected students will participate in monthly leader labs that will focus on developing important leadership skills; students will also create student led-community service projects.

This year’s kickoff involved a leader lab on vision and values; students were educated on the importance of knowing where they are going and the values it takes to get them there.  Additionally, students were actively engaged in a meal packing activity to benefit the Second Harvest of Albany.  The Chick-fil-A Leader Academy’s leaders include Mr. Dan Chappuis, Mr. Paul Day, Mrs. Meg Bishop, Mrs. Donna Hall and Mr. Kenneth White, North Valdosta Chick-fil-A store manager.
