VHS Academic Bowl team wins region

The Valdosta High School Academic Bowl team soundly defeated the Lowndes High Vikings in the region competition at Val Tech, Thursday, April 17, 2008.  Mrs. Nancy Miles, Academic Bowl sponsor is shown with her students displaying their winning trophy.  Valdosta High had to defeat teams from Berrien and Tift counties to make it to the finals with Lowndes High School.
