any student who may need to regain lost credits
from any local high school. VHS will also be
offering a new credit course (1/2 credit) in
Driver’s Education and Drug/Alcohol Awareness
which will comply with the new driving
requirements under Joshua’s Law that assists
students to meet the requirements for obtaining
a Class D provisional license. ADAP cards will
be issued which are required for students to
obtain a drivers license. Students completing
the Drivers Education Course may be eligible for
insurance discounts and a possible $175.00 tax
credit. Check with your insurance company and
accountant. Each course is worth ½ credit. VHS
summer school is SACS accredited and Carnegie
units will be awarded for passed courses.
