VMS Students attend Leadership Conference at Georgia Tech

On May 5^th, fifteen students from Valdosta Middle School traveled to Atlanta for the African American Leadership Conference for Middle School Male Students. The event took place at Georgia Tech and was sponsored by The National Coalition for At-Risk Schools. The conference featured speakers from the Georgia Tech student body as well as successful African American males from around the country. Chaperones included Tracey Wilson (VMS Graduation Coach), Dr. Anthony Flowers (VMS), Barbara Cunningham (VHS Gear-up Director), and Brandi Peterson (VHS Gear-up).
