Nutrition Advisory Council Art Contest

Valdosta High School and W. G. Nunn Elementary art students competed in the Georgia School Nutrition Art Contest.  The theme for the art contest was “School Nutrition Spotlighting Wellness”.   We had two district winners and one state winner from Valdosta City Schools.  Taylor Ward from W.G. Nunn Elementary School placed first in the district and second in the state receiving a $50.00 gift certificate from the State.  Rodriguez A. Star from Valdosta High School placed first in the district.

Other local winners included 2^nd place winners Erica Vinson from VHS and Jamison Manning W.G. Nunn Elementary School.  Third place winners locally were Jemora Burkes VHS and Amari Berrian W.G. Nunn.   Congratulations to these local artists.
