APPLICATION PROCESS FOR SUBSTITUTE
TEACHERS
Application
for Employment for Substitute Teaching Positions

Please read the following information carefully.

For
payroll purposes, the following items will be needed in order to process
your application:
1.
Complete Application Packet
2. Driver’s License
3. Social Security Card
4. Copy of High School Diploma or College Transcript
5. Fingerprints
6. Three (3) Professional References |

Fingerprints may be completed at Butler Auto Paint, Monday through
Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., located at 200 A West Magnolia
St. You will need to be registered by Kimberly Pate at the Central
Office before you can have your fingerprints processed.
There is
a non-refundable processing fee of $52.90. It
should be in the form of money order only. Please make it payable to
COGENT SYSTEMS. |

Upon
receipt of your completed substitute teaching application, verifiable
and acceptable references, a scheduled training date and
registration form will be mailed to you. A training fee of $10.00 cash
is due on the day of the substitute training workshop. This fee is paid
to RESA to cover the 3 hour workshop.
You must present your registration form to
attend the workshop. |

INCOMPLETE
APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.
PLEASE NOTE:
Applicants holding a
Georgia or out-of-state current or expired teaching certificate are required to
participate in a scheduled one-hour orientation training session
instead of the regular four-hour substitute training session. Fingerprints
still apply.
