This week long event will be split into two parts. March 8-11 will be a virtual event with information, interviews, biographies, etc. posted to the Moody AFB Facebook page. March 12-13 will be two in-person events on Moody AFB (because of COVID-19 health considerations, the in-person events will be limited in numbers). On March 12th, eight groups of six participants will rotate through an aircraft flight simulator, a mission planning cell and some of Moody AFB’s flying operations support facilities. On March 13th, participants will be able to view and take pictures with static displays of the airframes as well as speak with pilots and ground operators about their careers.
Eligible participants are females 7-17 years old with an interest in aviation or careers that support aviation. If there are slots available 1 week prior to the event, registration will be extended to male participants. Instructions on how to access Moody AFB will be provided to participants who are signed up prior to the event. All interested participants must register at the link below.
