Students Return to School Wednesday, January 5, 2022

In order to do so, we are encouraging parents to contact their child’s school if the student has been exposed to COVID-19 in the last week; has tested positive within the last five days; or has any symptoms/signs of illness. If you have any questions about whether or not your student should return to school, you can contact your local health care provider or your school’s nurse.

It is important to note that all VCS COVID-19 mitigating measures, especially encouraging that students and staff wear a mask or a face covering, will be continued. Basic prevention measures should always be followed to help prevent further spread of COVID and mitigate outbreaks of infection, especially in public settings: wear a mask, physically distance, and wash your hands frequently with soap and water.

It is very important that our scholars continue with the same degree of dedication and motivation to learn as they have exhibited since school reopened in August. Teachers and administrators have been very pleased and are counting on them to finish this most unprecedented school year exhibiting their best efforts possible.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience, and we are looking forward to a successful second semester as we all continue to manage the ever-changing demands and restrictions of COVID-19. We are all in this together to ensure a successful, productive, safe and healthy completion of the academic year.
