S. L. Mason Students Plant Vegetables in the School's Garden

Students plant various vegetables and fruits throughout the year to gain a deeper understanding of how food goes from the farm to the table. Once harvested, the cafeteria prepares the food for students to eat, and we make connections to concepts such as production, distribution, and consumption. S. L.
