The Valdosta Board of Education voted unanimously to adopt a new dress code during the May 8 regular meeting. All students in grades kindergarten through fifth will be required to wear solid white, black, or yellow (Wildcat gold) shirts with black or khaki shorts, pants, or skirts/skorts. All shorts and skirts/skorts must follow the current dress code requirements for length, condition, etc.
Dr. Todd Cason, superintendent, is still finalizing the guidance for the K-5 uniform dress code with the principals. Additional information will be released following that approval.
