Transportation Delays Expected Friday, October 15

On Friday, October 15, Valdosta City Schools will have several buses working to transport students for extracurricular activities during the afternoon hours.  Because of this, our afternoon school routes will be interrupted.

Wildcats Headed to Warner Robins

The Valdosta Wildcats will travel to Warner Robins on Friday, October 15, to play their first region game against the Northside Warner Robins Eagles.

VCS Temporary Virtual Learning Option to Conclude on October 12

The temporary virtual learning option for all K-12 students in Valdosta City Schools will conclude on Tuesday, October 12 at the end of the first grading period.  All virtual learners, K - 12th grades, will be expected to return to their respective schools for traditional, face-to-face instruction on Wednesday, October 13.

Valdosta City Schools has earned system accreditation by Cognia™, a nonprofit organization that provides quality assurance for schools, school districts, and education service providers. Earning accreditation from the Cognia Global Accreditation Commission means that Valdosta City Schools is nationally recognized as a school system that meets quality standards, and maintains a commitment to continuous improvement.

U.S. Senate Youth Program Applications Available

The United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) sends two delegates from every state to spend a week in Washington, D.C., where they study our government firsthand. There is also a $10,000 college scholarship for each delegate.
