VCS Transitioning to Online Registration Platform

Valdosta City Schools will be moving to an online platform for student registration.  Staff will participate in training during the next few weeks with the expectation of going live with the new platform in early July.  

This online registration is for all students entering Kindergarten and/or transferring into the district from other school systems. Please check back on all web and social media sites for further details on the new process beginning July 1, 2020.

Miss VHS 2020 - Cassie Doscher

The 2020 Miss VHS Pageant was held virtually at the Valdosta City Schools' Performing Arts Center on May 7. Contestants competed in live virtual interviews with judges, Wildcat casual wear, and evening gown competition. Contestants also created and developed philanthropic platform boards that were submitted to the judges electronically for judging. All of the contestants worked very hard and made this a close competition.

2020-2021 School Choice: HB 251

In accordance with this 2009 state law (O.C.G.A 20-2-2131) parents/guardians may request to transfer their child to another school within the district if adequate, permanent classroom space is available at the requested school.
