School Social Services

School Social Workers can participate in Special Education assessment meetings and IEP meetings. 
School Social Workers help eliminate barriers to education helping children and families work through adjustment
periods or difficult life circumstances.
School Social Workers can assist families and students link to needed community resources.

Mission Statement 

Our mission is to help students and families make the best use of available opportunities and resources and to fully develop each student's individual potential. As School Social Workers, we make it our goal to adhere to the educational process and understanding of the psychosocial development of children and the influences of family, community, and cultural differences as they interact with the educational process.

The School Social Workers provide services to students in PreK through 12th grade and serve all ten schools in the district.
