Registration for Valdosta City Schools' students is held at each school during operating hours. To determine your child's school zone please contact our Central Office at (229) 333-8500.
All forms are available on-site, but downloading and completing before arrival will save time. A list of the required documentation for registration is included in each packet. The VCS Enrollment & Registration Checklist outlines all required documents needed to complete registration. Parents should provide all documents at the time of registration.
Parents or legal guardians must accompany students for registration. All students enrolled must reside within the Valdosta City limits with parents or legal guardians and meet age requirements as established by state law for Pre-Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade and students with disabilities.
Valdosta City Schools offers open and nondiscriminatory enrollment. Children will not be denied participation in educational programs on the basis of race, color, or national origin (Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964); sex (Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 and Title II of the Vocational Education Amendments of 1976); or disability (Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990).
