Online registration is available for all students new to Valdosta City Schools. Parents are strongly encouraged to register using our online platform.

If you are unable to use the online application platform, please follow the instructions for “In-Person” registration.


All “In-Person” registrations will be by appointment only and you will need to contact your child’s zoned school to schedule an appointment. Please complete the registration packet below, download, save, and print a copy of the application and forms to bring with you to your scheduled appointment, as well as all required documents.

If you are unable to download and print the registration packet, one can be picked up at your child’s zoned school. To determine your child’s school zone, please contact our Central Office at (229) 333-8500.

For the protection and safety of all persons, we ask that you please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • All visitors must sign-in
  • Masks and/or face coverings are optional
  • Practice social distancing at a minimum of 3ft apart.

All students enrolling in Valdosta City Schools, must reside within the Valdosta City limits with their parents or legal guardians, and meet the age requirements as established by state law for Pre-K – 12th Grade and students with disabilities.

Valdosta City Schools offers open and nondiscriminatory enrollment.
