We are proud to announce that Valdosta City Schools is one of only 50 districts in Georgia recognized with the Georgia Farm to School Award by the Georgia Department of Education School Nutrition Division, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Agriculture, UGA Extension, and the Georgia Department of Public Health.
This award celebrates our district’s commitment to:

✅ Promoting farm-to-school efforts throughout our campuses
✅ Growing and maintaining school gardens
✅ Adopting farm-to-school language in district policy and practice
