The Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl is a beloved academic competition that honors the legacy of Helen Ruffin and her passion for reading. Each year, students across our district showcase their knowledge, teamwork, and love of literature in this exciting celebration of literacy.
Elementary Division Winners

Valdosta High School also participated in the Reading Bowl as a practice competition in preparation for regionals, demonstrating their commitment to literacy and academic excellence.
Congratulations to all of our participants! The 1st and 2nd place teams will advance to the Regional Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl at Valdosta State University on February 21 at 12:00 PM. We wish them the best of luck as they continue their reading journey!
