Valdosta City Schools will accept House Bill 251 (HB 251) transfer applications for the 2026-2027 school year beginning May 1, 2026.
Georgia law allows parents/guardians residing within the district to request a transfer to another school within the system if classroom space is available.
Application Window: May 1 – May 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM
Important Information:
Approval is based on available capacity
Transportation is the responsibility of the family
Submission does not guarantee approval
A lottery may be held if requests exceed available openings

Valdosta City Schools aceptará solicitudes de transferencia bajo la Ley HB 251 para el año escolar 2026-2027 a partir del 1 de mayo de 2026.
La ley estatal de Georgia permite que los padres o tutores legales que residen dentro del distrito soliciten una transferencia a otra escuela del sistema que tenga espacio disponible.
Periodo de Solicitud: Del 1 de mayo al 31 de mayo de 2026 a las 11:59 p.m.
