During the Honor’s Night celebration held on May 6, 2025, Valdosta High School principal, Dr. Johnnie Marshall and the VHS faculty and staff proudly recognized the

accomplishments of the senior class along with the top three honor graduates of the Class of 2025.

At the top of the graduating class of 521 seniors is valedictorian, Fletcher Adams. Adams, the son of Brad and Meredith Adams, is an International Baccalaureate student and a member of the VHS Tennis Team. Adams plans to major in mechanical engineering and will attend Georgia Institute of Technology. Adams is a member of the VHS Beta Club, student council, Skills USA, FCA and Young Life. Adams expressed his thoughts on being named valedictorian: “I was very excited and proud because I was competing against many smart students at Valdosta High School.”

Raymond Moody IV, son of Avery Moody and Kippy Tift, earned the title of salutatorian. “I owe this achievement to all the teachers and family members who have guided me through these past four years,” stated Moody. Moody is an International Baccalaureate student and a drum major for the VHS Marching Cats. Moody was a member of the VHS Beta Club, Interact Club, Science National Honor Society, and a student ambassador for the International Club. Moody will be attending Brown University to study English.

Rounding out the top three honor graduates is Patrick Wallace, son of Russell and Laurie Wallace. An International Baccalaureate student, Wallace is a member of Leadership Lowndes, English Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, and FCA Huddle leader. “Learn to work hard and teach yourself discipline. Find a sport that’ll teach you as much as school will is advice that Wallace suggested to current and future Wildcats. Wallace plans to attend the University of Georgia and major in economics.

All three distinguished graduates will be delivering the invocation and speeches at the VHS graduation scheduled for May 23, 2025 at 8:00 PM at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium.
