🎉 Valdosta High School Swim Team was recognized by Coach Mitchell at the April 22, 2025 Valdosta Board of Education Meeting for being State Qualifiers & setting school records!🏊♂️
🔥 The boys 200 medley relay team — Lex Kennedy (backstroke), Carter McGhin (breaststroke), Marcus Boyd (butterfly), and William Moseley (freestyle) — set a new school record and also clocked some of the fastest relay times in VHS history!
💥 Lex also broke the school record in the 500 freestyle (6:25).
💥 William set the modern-day school record in the 50 freestyle (22.93 sec) — and he balances this with being a varsity football player! 🏈
🌟 Amelia Blevins (sophomore) qualified for state again in the 100 butterfly, setting a school record of 1:04.69! 🐬 Her dedication and talent continue to impress!
