Congratulations to the Band Directors of Valdosta City Schools,
All feeder middle schools and the high school recently collaborated for the Pre-Festival of LGPE (Large Group Performance Evaluation) program at the Valdosta Performing Arts Center, and it was absolutely wonderful! As an update, Newbern Middle School and Valdosta Early College Academy led by Mr. Arthur Adkins & Mrs. Julie Savoie joined together to become the Valdosta Middle School Honor Band to perform for the first time. Valdosta Middle School was led by Mr. Johnny Brown, and Mr. Andrew Hill led the Symphony Band of Valdosta High School. Mr. Travis Kimber led the Wind Symphony Band of the high school, along with guidance to all of the schools as the Director of Bands! All of these schools will perform for the upcoming GMEA (LGPE) at Wayne County High School on March 7th & 8th!
