Congratulations to the VMS Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl Team for placing 1st in the district competition on Saturday! The team will advance to compete in the South Regional Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl at VSU on Saturday, February 21st. We are so proud of your hard work and commitment to the team, and we are excited for you to represent us in the regional competition! The Helen Ruffin Team members include: 6th Grade: Greyson Hall, Kannon Howell, Liam Culpepper, Marley Pizzaro, Krisha Patel, Lauren Danner, Ty Ezzell, Treylan Bellamy, Harry Godwin, 7th grade: Jeremy Litster, Makayla Thomas, 8th grade: Jayda Austin, Gabe Peterson, Chase Dionne, and Khristian Dixon.
