Daily Announcements 3/23/26

Spring Break is almost here, and we’re launching Wildcats in the Wild! A limited number of students will get to take a VMS Wildcat mascot on their trip. Snap photos along the way, and come back with a short story about their mascot’s adventures. If you are interested, please let your homeroom teacher know.       

The countdown is ON—our VMS STEAM Carnival is THIS Thursday at 5:30! Get ready for games, prizes, live performances, and awesome STEAM booths from VMS and our community! And VMS students who attend and participate in the STEAM activities can earn bonus points on an upcoming 30% assessment. 

If you’re signed up for the Science Fair, this is your reminder— April 10th is right around the corner, and your project should already be in motion! Make sure you’re actively working, testing, and building so you’re ready to present your best work. And don’t forget—participating can earn you an extra 60% grade for your fourth nine weeks science grade!

All 8th grade girls interested in playing volleyball at the high school next school year please attend an interest meeting tomorrow, Tuesday at the Valdosta High School Cafeteria.  The meeting starts at 6pm.

All 8th graders interested in playing 9th grade football, there is a Parent meeting tonight at 6:30 in the Valdosta High School Gym.

All Football players, fundraiser money and tickets are due tomorrow to Coach Brindger, Coach A. Scott, and Mr. Mobley 

Flag football tryouts will begin today and end at 5:30. Please wait for the announcement before going to the gym to get ready. 

Kona Ice will be on campus tomorrow. Students bring cash or card to purchase.        

Girls JV soccer players will be called to the bus loading area at 3:10 today. They will be playing an away game at Baconton Charter School @5:30.Good Luck Ladies!!!!
