VMS students and staff were excited to be able to hold the annual STEM Science Fair after missing two years due to Covid. 85 projects were presented and judged by 30 local STEM professionals. Winners are as follows: 1st place is Josephine Johnson with “RC Batteries”. 2nd place is Naomi Harp, Austin Altman, and Jake Dorsey with “Food Battery”. Caroline Smith and Shelby Steel took 3rd place with “Smell This”, and Ethan Bender, Bryson Johnson, Davis Monroe, and Lane Smith placed 4th with “Bottle Battle”.
