The Social Services Department had the honor of meeting with Mayor Scott James Matheson in recognition of National School Social Work Week. During the meeting, an official proclamation was read, acknowledging the vital role school social workers play in supporting students, families, and the community. We were also grateful for the presence of City Councilwoman Vivian Miller-Cody and City Manager Al Crace, whose support further highlighted the importance of the work being done to serve our schools and city.
It was a proud moment for our department and a meaningful acknowledgment of our commitment to removing barriers and advocating for student success.
