We would like to thank Miss Black and Gold, Miss Black, Miss Gold and Miss Yellow Rose for spending time with our scholars today. These young ladies participated in the Miss Black and Gold pageant this past spring that was sponsored by the Mu Omicron Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity Incorporated at Valdosta State University and secured the crown. Our scholars really enjoyed them and can't wait for them to come back again soon. This Friday, April 19 is the last day to order Field Day t-shirts. Shirts are $10 each for all sizes. Cash or money orders only. Multi-grades/PreK: Pink. Kindergarten: Orange 1st: Purple 2nd: Yellow 3rd: Blue 4th: Red 5th: Green Reminders: PreK-2nd Field Day: May 16 3rd-5th: May 17 We will have food trucks again this year. Scholars must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to go to the food trucks. You are welcome to eat on the patio or in the designated areas with your scholar. There will be a country store set up in the gym for scholars to purchase snacks. All classes will have a time to visit the store. They will not need a parent to purchase during that time. Scholars who are participating in the water area must have a change of clothes and a towel. Water shoes/flip flops are recommended for this area. Just like last year there won't be any classroom visits allowed. Look for more information to come home as we get closer to field day.
