We’re proud to celebrate Ms. Samantha Napier, VCS District Social Services Coordinator, for being named one of Georgia Trend’s 40 Under 40 for 2025! Her dedication to supporting students, strengthening families, and advocating for those in need continues to make a lasting difference in our schools and community.

“May the work I’ve done speak for me” is Samantha Napier’s leadership motto. Her upbringing in Valdosta as a pastor’s daughter inspired her efforts to meet the needs of families in her community. She now oversees a team of social workers serving at-risk students and advocates for policies that benefit underserved populations. In an effort to address homelessness within the schools, she collaborated with local churches to help establish the TEACH Transitional Home, a haven for mothers and young children that provides mentoring and classes to prepare these families for reentry into the community. A 2019 breast cancer survivor, Napier’s Love Basket Ministry is a way for her and others to deliver care packages and encouragement to those in crisis, extending the same support she received through her own health journey.

Help us congratulate Ms. Napier on this well-deserved recognition!
