List of rules and expectations: For your safety and the safety of others, no running is allowed anywhere inside the stadium. Loitering in open areas (concessions, restrooms) at the stadium is not permitted. No umbrellas are allowed inside Bazemore-Hyder Stadium. VCS has implemented a Clear Bag Policy for all school-sponsored events. Re-entry to the stadium is not allowed. If a spectator leaves the stadium at any time during the event, they are expected to purchase a new ticket for re-entry. Season pass holders are expected to adhere to this rule. Dropping off K-8th grade students at Cleveland Field in Bazemore-Hyder Stadium without the accompaniment of a parent or adult guardian(s) is prohibited. K–8th grade students will NOT be admitted into the stadium without a parent or adult guardian(s). Parent(s) or adult guardian(s) are responsible for K–8th grade students’ behavior and are responsible for their supervision during the entirety of all events. All K–8th grade students must sit with their parent or adult guardian(s) during the game. There is no K-8 student section and these students are not allowed to sit in the high school section. K–8th grade students are allowed to sit in the reserved sections (sections C, D, & E) ONLY with their parent or adult guardian(s) who must have purchased seats in those areas. These students will not be allowed to sit in these areas in vacant seats without an adult. Tickets will be checked! Students are not allowed to play in the turf area outside of the David S. Waller Museum before, during, or after stadium events. Students in grades 9th–12th will be allowed to enter the stadium without a parent or adult guardian with a valid VHS student ID. High school students should remain in the designated student section and are not allowed to move into other sections of the stadium. Events held in Bazemore-Hyder Stadium are considered school sponsored events, therefore all policies and procedures outlined in the VCS Code of Student Conduct are expected to be followed. Any student violating any policies or procedures will face disciplinary consequences as outlined in the annual VCS Code of Student Conduct. Any student(s)/spectator(s) who throw food, drink, or other items will be escorted from the stadium, not allowed re-admittance, and may be banned from the stadium for the remainder of the school year. Colorful powder, baby powder, or any other item that causes a safety concern or will require an undue amount of cleanup time are prohibited in Bazemore-Hyder Stadium. Anyone caught violating these rules or who refuses to comply with district personnel, event staff, or law enforcement officials' directions may be removed from the stadium, will not be allowed re-entry and may be banned from the stadium for the remainder of the school year. State laws and school district policies will be in effect concerning alcoholic beverages, controlled substances, tobacco, and vaping.
