Before our Winter Holiday Break, leadership was under construction at Sallas Mahone Elementary School.
Students from the Gentlemen’s Academy at J.L. Newbern Middle School stepped into mentorship roles during the Hard Hat Santa Workshop, working one-on-one and in small groups with Sallas Mahone elementary students to build and decorate Lowe’s DIY kits. The experience went beyond the project—developing leadership, patience, communication skills, and positive peer connections.
Shout-out to the students of our SkillsUSA Club for capturing these moments, and special thanks to En-Touch Blueprint for repairing our banner free of charge.
This is what it looks like when we BelieVe in the V.
