🎄 Monday – Elf Day Fun
We kicked off the week with cheer as students and staff dressed up as elves. The creativity, spirit, and laughter filled the halls and set a joyful tone for the days ahead.
Tuesday - It was flannel and fun, and we surely got it done (wear flannel or plaid)!
🍪 Wednesday – Sweet Cookie Treats
Midweek brought a delicious surprise! Our Sweet Cookie Treat Wednesday was a hit, adding a little extra sweetness to everyone’s day.
Thursday - We were cool, we were grand - we rocked that hat or headband!
📚 Friday – Book Buddies
We wrapped up the week with our Book Buddies activity. It was heartwarming to see students connect through reading, sharing stories, and building classroom relationships.

During the month of November, Communities in Schools, Valdosta / Lowndes County, presented the students at W.G Nunn with an attendance challenge, be present at school Every day, All day November 3, 2025, through November 20, 2025, and earn a Golden Ticket. 411 students met the challenge, received a Golden Ticket with their name on the ticket. Students used their Golden Ticket to redeem a pack of AirHeads Extreme Sour Strips. Students were told that we (WG Nunn and Communities in Schools) were “Extremely” proud of them for coming to school every day in November, and to please keep up the good work. The students were very excited and proud of themselves. #BelieVeintheV #CommuityinSchools #Attendance
