We had such a great time at BINGO for books last night! Each kid got to take home a book, parents took home resources, and we were all fed some yummy chili. Thank you to each one of you who joined us!











Beta Club is sponsoring a sock drive! If you'd like to support their efforts, please send in socks, gloves, mittens, scarves, or hats through the rest of January.


Mark your calendars for Thursday February 8th for our Father/Daugher, Mother/Son Valentine's Dance from 5:30-7:30. The tickets are officially on sale and may be purchased in the front office for $6 per person ahead of time or $7 at the door.

Mrs. Hampton's Kindergarten class was working on patterns today. They were focusing on the ABAB pattern with colored blocks. Students reflected on what patterns they made by sharing with their classmates. 🟢🟡🟢🟡





Some of Mrs. McClendon's 3rd grade class were recognized for their STAR Math scores for the Winter. These students increased their scaled sore since taking STAR in the Fall. Congratulations to these students and keep up the good work!

Mrs. Lowe, our Art teacher hosted our 2nd Annual Holiday Art Contest for our school. After 16 student entries and six teacher entries our winners were: 4th grader, Eyan Suanders and Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Weston. Congratulations to our winners!

Our 3rd grade PE classes were a part of a Christmas Tree relay. How could they use sports equipment to decorate themselves as a Christmas tree? Look at their creativity!











A group of our 3rd grade students wrote and made cards for a group of people at Home Instead. Thank you to Mrs. Tarpley and Justin Anderson for giving our students an opportunity to give back to our community!


This Thursday, December 14th is our Parent Night where we focus on Literacy and Social Studies. We will be hosting a Trivia Night from 5 - 6 PM where our students will face the adults! I hope our parents will be brushing up on their Social Studies content this week. There will also be some arts and crafts and academic tips. We can't wait to SEE YOU THERE!
