Miss Zymiriah Cooper, a senior at Valdosta High School, was crowned the 2024 Homecoming Queen during halftime of the Valdosta Wildcats vs. Dougherty County football game on Friday, August 30.
Cooper, the daughter of Thomas Cooper and Gwendolyn Davis, is an active member of the VHS Wildcat varsity sideline cheer team and the varsity basketball cheerleading squad. She also participates in the VHS Beta Club and the SMILE (Students Mentoring in Life and Education) organization. After graduation, Cooper plans to attend Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University to pursue a degree in architecture and interior design.
The 2024 VHS Homecoming King is Todd Robinson, who was honored with the title during the Pep Rally on Friday morning. Robinson, the son of Ronnie Robinson, is a member of the VHS Wildcat varsity football and track teams. He has been offered an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Georgia to play college football and pursue a degree in business.
