This morning at Valdosta High School, we proudly celebrated one of our very own HEROES.
Mr. Robert Jeffords was recognized by Grace Ed Technologies, a partner of Centegix, as one of only 10 teachers to receive this year’s HERO Award. Along with the honor, he also received a monetary donation in recognition of his bravery.
On May 19, 2025, Mr. Jeffords acted without hesitation to protect his school community during a potentially dangerous situation. His calm, courageous, and decisive actions kept students and staff safe and reaffirmed the trust families place in Valdosta City Schools.
We are deeply grateful to Mr. Jeffords for his leadership and commitment, and to our partners at Grace Ed Technologies for honoring him in such a meaningful way.
