Late last night, Valdosta Police Department investigated a rumor regarding a possible weapon being brought to Valdosta High School. After a thorough investigation involving multiple sources, authorities confirmed there was no credible threat to any Valdosta City Schools campus.
As always, safety remains the foundation of all that we do. Every report of a threat, no matter the source, will be taken seriously, fully investigated, and any individuals found responsible will face charges to the fullest extent of the law.
