Last night at the Valdosta Board of Education meeting, the undefeated Valdosta Alley Cats were honored for their remarkable 8-0 season. Athletics Director Coach Mitchell shared a creative and fitting tribute to the team, describing their success as a “Recipe for a Perfect Season.”

The recipe included:

1 unstoppable group of young Wildcats

8 weeks of hard work and dedication

A full cup of discipline

A dash of swagger

Countless hours of practice

Unlimited heart, hustle, and character

Following this winning formula, the Alley Cats:

Opened strong with a 24-0 shutout against Thomas County.

Dominated Pine Grove, 60-0.

Continued their streak by blanking Coffee County, 22-0.

Battled hard against Hahira, winning 34-6.

Rolled past Colquitt County, 44-0.

Showed resilience in a tight matchup with Tifton, pulling off a 32-20 victory.

Shut out Lowndes 44-0, adding pride to the mix.

Closed the season with a championship — a 44-0 win over Tift County.

Coach Mitchell celebrated not just the wins, but the character, teamwork, and sportsmanship the young Wildcats displayed all season. Their hard work, unity, and determination created a truly winning recipe and a season to remember.

Congratulations to the Valdosta Alley Cats — an inspiring example of Wildcat pride!
