On October 9th, we celebrated the incredible success of J.L. Lomax Elementary School's Hispanic Heritage Program led entirely by their students under the guidance of their ESOL teacher, Georgina Arnold! Students from all grade levels proudly highlighted various Spanish-speaking countries through vibrant dances, music, traditional clothing, and facts about important personalities. A special thank you to guest performers, motivational speaker Andrew Graham and bilingual performer Michael Gittens, for sharing powerful messages of unity and positivity with the audience. El 9 de octubre celebramos el increíble éxito del Programa de Herencia Hispana de JL Lomax, dirigido totalmente por sus estudiantes bajo la guía de su maestra de ESOL, Georgina Arnold. Estudiantes de todos los grados destacaron con orgullo la diversidad de los países hispanohablantes a través de vibrantes bailes, música, vestimenta tradicional y datos sobre personajes importantes.
