    • Sallas Mahone Elementary School – recognized for excellence in reading achievement and growth

These honors are awarded to a select group of schools across Georgia that demonstrate extraordinary student progress and proficiency on state assessments. They reflect intentional instruction, strong leadership, and the daily commitment of our educators and students.

We are proud of the work happening across Valdosta City Schools as we continue preparing students with the literacy and numeracy skills they need for success in school and beyond.
