Valdosta City Schools will open online Pre-K registration for the 2026–2027 school year on Monday, February 2, 2026.

An in-person Pre-K registration event will also be held Monday, February 2 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the VCS Performing Arts Center for families who need assistance.
Important reminders:
Children must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026
Register by March 27, 2026 to be included in the first lottery drawing
Families will be notified by mail after the lottery on April 20, 2026
Required documents must be uploaded during registration, including birth certificate, immunization forms, proof of residence, and other enrollment records.
Eligibility zones:
J.L. Lomax, Pinevale, Sallas Mahone, S.L. Mason, and W.G. Nunn Elementary School zones.
