Our students had an incredible time at the 2026 Wildcat Field Day at Freedom Park!
From start to finish, the day was filled with laughter, friendly competition, great food, and meaningful time spent with family, friends, and staff as we celebrated another amazing year at Valdosta City Schools.
This event would not be possible without the unwavering support of our community partners who generously gave their time and resources: Crystal Hiller, Anna Schnotalla, Kristin Calvert with Southland Children’s Dentistry, A-1 Bonding, Synovus Bank, Langdale Industries, Randy with Spirit Screen Printing, Black Crow Media, The Coca-Cola Company, VLPRA, and the Miracle League of Valdosta.
A special thank-you as well to the Valdosta High School clubs who stepped up in a big way—serving food and drinks, assisting at game stations, and helping ensure everything ran smoothly for our students and families.
We also extend our deepest gratitude to Mrs. Contina Witherspoon for her leadership and coordination of this signature event. It truly takes a village, and we are grateful for every person and organization who continues to BelieVe in our students and invest in experiences that pour into them beyond the classroom.
