Valdosta City Schools hosted a successful and engaging EL Family Event on April 18 at the McMullen Southside Library! Families enjoyed a fun-filled morning while connecting with valuable community resources.
A special thank you to Kathy James, Branch Manager, for leading a guided library tour and highlighting the many FREE resources available to our community. We also appreciate Cristian Estrada with the Latino Community Fund for sharing important information about services, including free health screenings and family support resources.
Families left equipped with helpful updates on GMAS testing and summer reading opportunities—and wrapped up the day with an exciting round of Family Bingo!
