Valdosta High School teacher Mrs. Joy Roberts recently traveled to Senegal as part of the prestigious Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Program, representing both the United States and Valdosta City Schools on an international stage.
During her experience, Mrs. Roberts collaborated with educators and students from around the world, explored global education practices, and gained cultural experiences she is excited to bring back to her AP World History and IB Psychology students here in Valdosta.
We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Roberts for sharing her passion for learning beyond the classroom and for representing Valdosta High School with excellence abroad.
