The Silver Cord is one of the highest honors a cadet can earn and is awarded to top-performing cadets who successfully complete the NJROTC Leadership Academy in Gainesville, Georgia.
This achievement reflects outstanding leadership, dedication, discipline, teamwork, and commitment to the NJROTC program. Earning the Silver Cord is a testament to the hard work these cadets have invested in developing themselves as leaders and role models.
We are extremely proud of these cadets for representing Valdosta High School and the Valdosta NJROTC program with excellence. Their accomplishment brings great credit upon themselves, their families, their school, and our unit.
