Valdosta High School wrestler Michael Densmore has earned All-American honors at the 2026 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota, one of the largest and most prestigious wrestling tournaments in the nation!
Competing against some of the best wrestlers in the country, Michael placed 8th nationally in the 106-pound weight class, battling through a field of 60 wrestlers to earn a spot on the podium.
Michael finished the tournament with a 5-3 record, with all three of his losses coming against wrestlers who also earned All-American honors, including the eventual national champion.
The tournament brought together 1,818 wrestlers from across the United States, with Georgia sending 67 male wrestlers to compete. Michael was one of only three Georgia wrestlers to earn All-American honors!
