Valdosta Volleyball is proud to announce the collegiate signing of Juliana Peña to Shorter University, where she will continue her academic and athletic career!
Juliana transferred to Valdosta High School last summer as a rising senior. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she was unable to participate in the varsity schedule, but she made an unforgettable impact while leading the JV team with record-breaking numbers:

13 assists

Her fearless play earned her Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and MVP honors.
This is not only a monumental accomplishment for Juliana, but also a historic moment for VHS Volleyball. She is the first JV player in program history to sign at the collegiate level and the first VHS Volleyball player to sign with a Division II institution.
Juliana also excelled in the classroom, earning a 90.5 GPA and finishing in the top 25% of her senior class of 449 students.
