Welcoming New Military Families to Valdosta!
On August 20, members of the Valdosta City Schools team had the opportunity to welcome incoming Airmen and their families to our community at Moody Air Force Base.
Dr. Kinneer, Director of Special Education; Mr. Fandel, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources; and Mr. Robinson, Director of Virtual Learning, shared some of the many resources and opportunities available to military families as they make Valdosta their new home.
From traditional enrollment and virtual learning options to employment opportunities, volunteer involvement, and other ways to connect with our schools, we want military families to know there is a place for them in the VCS community.
We are grateful for the opportunity to build these connections and help our newest neighbors feel at home.
