Congratulations to Valdosta High School’s Malia Green on being selected to serve on State School Superintendent Richard Woods’ 2026–2027 Student Advisory Council!
Malia is one of just 85 students from across Georgia selected from more than 1,400 applicants. As a member of the council, she will have the opportunity to share her voice and perspective on issues impacting students and education across our state.
Even more exciting, this marks the fourth consecutive year a Valdosta High School student has been selected to serve on the council!
We are proud to see our Wildcats continuing to lead, represent, and make their voices heard beyond the walls of VHS. Keep BelieVing, Malia!
