Congratulations to Valdosta Middle School for earning the title of our first VCS Attendance Champion of the 2026–2027 school year!
This friendly districtwide competition recognizes schools that are going above and beyond to make attendance a priority. Schools are evaluated on a 12-point scale across four key areas:
Average Daily Attendance (ADA) for the month
Improvement in ADA from the previous month
Attendance awareness and visibility
Leader in Me implementation
VMS has officially claimed the Championship Belt and bragging rights as our first winner of the year!
Because attendance is about more than just numbers. Every day a student shows up is another opportunity to learn, build relationships, develop leadership skills, and take one step closer to success.
We can't wait to see which school steps up to claim the belt for October!
