The sixth annual Winnersville Battle of the Brains Trivia Night brought record attendance, 50 teams and a finish that Wildcat Nation is still discussing!
Held Monday, October 26, at the Rainwater Conference Center, the event kicked off Winnersville Week with an evening of laughter, teamwork and friendly competition in support of local students and teachers.
Valdosta High School’s CatGPT finished the trivia competition tied for first place with United We Brain. With the scores even, the championship came down to a physical tiebreaker. United We Brain claimed the victory by a split second, much to the dismay of a very enthusiastic Wildcat crowd.
The Wildcat section would like to request instant replay, another camera angle and perhaps just one more round of trivia. Their completely unbiased assessment? CatGPT had it! All in good fun, of course.
Congratulations to the winning team, whose trophy will read “United We Brain - Supporting the Greater Valdosta-Lowndes Community.” And a huge Wildcat shout-out to CatGPT for an outstanding performance and an exciting finish!

Beyond the competition, the evening celebrated a shared commitment to education. Proceeds are split equally between the Valdosta City Schools Foundation, Inc. and the Lowndes Education Improvement Foundation, supporting grants, scholarships and opportunities for students and teachers in both school systems.
