They were able to raise $600 for this important organization. We want to congratulate this fine group of students for their giving hearts and kindness to others! #nunnbetter #betaclub #leukemiaandlymphomasociety

The W. G. Nunn Beta Club enjoyed a delicious breakfast from Bojangles on Monday, May 20th. This was a celebration to honor and reward these amazing students! They along with sponsors Mrs. McCall, Mrs. Scott, and retired teacher Mrs. Cardella have had an awesome year! They have excelled in academics, leadership, and serving others. We are so proud of this fine group of boys and girls!

We couldn't make it through the year without our community partners. These people have gone above and beyond for us this year! Congratulations to our winners:
Large Business of the year: Texas Roadhouse
Small Business of the year: Kona Ice
Organization of the year: Park Avenue Church

Today we had the pleasure of some 8th grade students from Highland Christian Academy come visit a Kindergarten class and help with a special project. Each student had the opportunity to put together a dinosaur blanket to take home. We are so greatful to have such wonderful helpers come and serve us so well!

Parents are invited to join their student(s) during the Wet & Wild times of field day! Parents can join their student in the side parking lot where the slides will be held. For safety reasons, anyone under the age of 18 who is not a student at WG Nunn will not be allowed in the wet and wild area during the field day event.

This week we hosted our AR celebration in the Media Center with a mini golf party! Theses students all had the most points in the month of March/April and had an accuracy of 80% or higher. What a great way to end our year of AR! Thank you to Sinkin Putts Mini Golf Rentals for setting us up for a fun day!

WG Nunn Elementary students were able to attend the VCS District STEAM Day at VSU! Students represented us well with both Science Fair and Art Projects! We had two students finish in the top ten with their science fair projects. Johansen Areas had a top 10 finish and Eliasier Lagunes placed 3rd! We are so proud of all students who participated!
