Tomorrow is the last day for the Beta Club Penny Wars fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Bring those pennies in for positive points for your grade level and silver coins and bills to sabotage other grades!!! The grade level with the most points wins a popsicle party!! Happy Sabotaging 💰

Members of the W. G. Nunn Beta Club along with sponsors Mrs. McCall and Mrs. Cardella had the opportunity to visit the Lowndes County Animal Shelter on Saturday, April 20th. The students and sponsors arrived bearing gifts for the animals waiting to be adopted. The friendly staff at the shelter welcomed them by giving them a tour and allowed them to interact with the animals. The Beta members also enjoyed making pet treat piñatas for the animals. It was a great way for the students to serve the community. The Beta club will also present a check to the animal shelter soon from the funds raised during their “Pops for Pets” fundraiser held recently at W. G. Nunn.
3rd grade teachers, students, and parents had an amazing Saturday School GMAS prep session today. Students had mock sessions of writing, reading and math tests mixed in with some jeopardy review and important tips for parents. Thank you to Bojangles for providing breakfast 😋 Thank you to the staff and parents for your dedication to helping your child succeed. #NunnBetter
On this fun Friday, our PBIS team hosted a bowling and stations celebration. These students had 40 points and 0 referrals for the month of March AND April. Congratulations WG Nunn!
The 2024 Science Fair was a total success! Congratulations to all of our students who participated and for those who won. We can't wait to compete with other schools from the district!

Tomorrow evening at 5 pm is Camp Read-a-Lot! Enjoy stories, starry night crossword puzzles, smores, fishing for literacy, an escape room and more! GMAS information will be available. Hot dogs will be served until they run out!
Also, Title I Stakeholder Input Meeting will be in the Media Center at 5:30 pm. Input forms will be available to complete throughout the evening.
